U.S. Halts F-35 Operational Equipment Shipments to Turkey

News & Blog

On April 1, the Pentagon announced it was halting shipments of equipment related to the operation of the F-35 fighter.  As of now, the halt only affects shipments related to the “stand-up” of Turkey’s F-35 operational capabilities. In the coming months, contingent on Turkey’s intent to purchase the Russian S-400 missile system, Turkey’s role in the manufacture of parts, systems, and components for the f-35 may be curtailed. We will keep you advised on further developments.
