Status of BIS Licensing Review

News & Blog

Following the re-opening of the Government, we are still experiencing delays in BIS and DDTC application review times. We advise our clients to plan well in advance if an export requires licensing or if you need to replace expiring licensing. Our recommendation is at least 3 months in advance for BIS and DDTC export licensing; 5 months for foreign national licenses and agreements. As BIS and DDTC work through their continuing back-log, these lead times may shorten. However, as of now planning ahead is vital in avoiding shipping delays.
