Schedule B Revisions

News & Blog

Each year, the Census Bureau revises the Schedule B, commodity classifications used for compiling export statistics which are required to be entered to Customs. Notable in this year’s revision is the revision of the Schedule B classification for aircraft parts and components, previously found in 8803 (8803 is no longer a valid classification) and moved to 8807, and the addition of a separate category for UAVs. If you export aircraft parts and components, both military and civil under 8803, or UAVs or UAV parts and components, you should review your Schedule B entries and revise if necessary. Please contact our office if you would like us to review your Schedule B classifications.
