Unused DECCS accounts are disabled after one year of inactivity. If you only use your DECCS account for registration, or for very infrequent license applications, you should set a calendar reminder to log into your DECCS account every 6 months to avoid being locked out. If your account is deactivated for inactivity, you will need to call the DECCS help desk at (202) 663-2838 and request to have your account reactivated.
If you did not migrated your Snap-R account prior to the implementation of the new app and your account is no longer active, you will need to send a letter request to BIS/Snap-R help desk to have your account migrated and reactivated. Please contact our office for assistance or contact the Snap-R help desk at (202) 482-2148. It is important to do this prior to requiring licensing as we have noticed significant delays in resetting some accounts.
