Over the course of the pandemic, we have experienced delays in licensing review. Most significantly affected have been State Department license applications, especially agreements and foreign national technology transfer licenses. These application review times have been averaging 3 months, with some taking significantly longer. We recommend beginning the renewal process at least 6 months in advance of the expiration of any State Department license application.
