ACES PROGRAM DISCONTINUATION
As you may be aware, the General Services Administration (GSA) has announced that as of July 31, 2020, the ACES program will be discontinued. As such, after July 31, 2020, ACES certificates will no longer be supported by IdenTrust and your current ACES certificate will not be eligible for renewal.
CERTIFICATE EXPIRATION AND REVOCATION
In addition, the GSA has mandated that all ACES certificates must be terminated by July 31, 2020. In order to fully comply with the ACES program discontinuation, on July 31, 2020 IdenTrust must revoke all ACES certificates that have not previously expired.
REPLACEMENT FOR ACES CERTIFICATES
In order to avoid disruption to your interactions with federal, state and local agencies that require you to use your ACES certificate, you will need to obtain an IdenTrust IGC certificate or a DoD ECA certificate prior to the expiration of your ACES certificate. Please allow two weeks lead time for us to process the application for your replacement certificate.
Please visit our ACES Certificate Program page at www.identrust.com/support/aces where our Certificate Selection Wizard will assist you in obtaining the IGC or ECA certificate accepted by government agencies and most suitable to meet your business needs.
