SNAP-R is getting a new look! BIS is releasing a new user interface for exporters to access SNAP-R soon.
The new updated website will have a new login system and as well as a new look and feel. The majority of functionalities remain the same. However, the following updates (though not limited to) differ slightly from the current SNAP-R:
- Login using email address and Multi-factor Authentication Improved password reset self-service
- Address verification
- Trusted third-party relationships
- Administrative access for company administrators
To prepare your existing accounts for the new system, please ensure your email address is up to date and correct on your user profiles. There is no need to reset your password at this time. If you have forgotten your password and need it set, a SNAP-R Administrator for your CIN at your company/firm can do that for you.
SNAP-R Company Administrators should make sure that all email addresses within a CIN are unique (no email is used for more than one account).
Do not attempt to re-register for your CIN. Any guidance on the internet to that effect is obsolete. Duplicate registrations are blocked automatically in the software.
For users with multiple accounts in different CINs, you can continue to use the same email address across all of them. BIS will send another notification when the new website is ready for use. When notified, you will need to migrate your existing SNAP-R account(s) by providing your existing CIN, login ID, password and email address associated with your account.
