U.S. Export Control Reform


Export Control ReformU.S. Export Control Reform is the transition of certain items from the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) which the President has determined no longer warrant export control on the U.S. Munitions List (USML).


While many USML categories have already transitioned, there are several USML categories that have not been revised. It is important to reclassify all military items based on the changes to the ITAR/EAR arising from the Export Control Reform.
